NANLUX NL70 Parallel Beam Reflector

Nanlux introduces the NL70 Parallel Beam Reflector
(RF-NL-PB), a professional lighting modifier with
a well-defined long-throw beam and minimal light loss.
It features a highly optimized optical design that
works perfectly with the Nanlux Evoke 2400B and other
Evoke series NL mount light fixtures,
making it an excellent solution for shooting scenarios
that require a high-intensity parallel beam,
natural light with low light decay, or efficient light for
use with reflectors.

Innovative Light Shaping

The NL70 parallel beam reflector features a beam angle of 6°.
It is fitted with an internal grid design, and when combined with its snoot, it effectively reduces spill light,
ensuring a focused and even light output. When used with compatible Evoke series light fixtures,
it creates a cinema-grade parallel light beam.

22420 lux   –   5749 lux

When mounted on the Evoke 2400B, the light output
can be increased by up to 21 times compared to using
the light alone. This combination, with its high efficiency
and parallel beam features, is outstanding for long-distance
lighting scenarios. At a distance of 10 meters, the illuminance
can reach 22,420 lux (5600K), effortlessly meeting the lighting
demands of large-scale productions and outdoor projects.

Smart Design, Minimal Weight

The NL70 parallel beam reflector is made from lightweight materials
and achieves exceptional weight reduction through optimized structural design.
With a diameter of 720mm/28.35″, it weighs only 9.37kg/20.66lb, making transport,
handling, and setup easy, even by a single person.

Efficient Installation and Lighting

The NL70 parallel beam reflector comes with
a carbon fiber snoot that can be detached into
four separate leaves. This design balances
lightweight materials and high strength,
making it able to withstand repeated use and
ensuring long-lasting durability.

Efficient Installation and Lighting

The installation of the snoot is straightforward,
requiring only the attachment of hook and loop
fasteners on the edges of the leaves.
This enhances efficiency as there is no need for
tools or complex procedures.

Efficient Installation and Lighting

This attachment system effectively reduces
spill light, enhances light concentration,
and ensures the fixture delivers the desired beam.

Versatile for Every Scene

With the NL70 parallel beam reflector installed, the Evoke series fixtures can easily simulate sunlight streaming into a room.
This is due to the narrow, more focused and practically parallel beam which minimizes light decay over distance, resulting in more natural lighting.

The combination can also simulate searchlight effects, effortlessly creating the intense lighting required
for large outdoor scenes such as battlefields, prison watchtowers and guard posts.
The parallel beam performance can also be used to significantly extend the light source’s reach
within small spaces when using reflectors while minimizing light scatter.
This offers greater flexibility and more creative possibilities, achieving high-quality natural lighting within limited spaces.
It can also create a single shadow effect when combining with reflector.

Weatherproof Protection

The NL70 parallel beam reflector comes with
a dust cap to safeguard it when being moved or stored.
The PC optical cover at the front not only prevents dust
entering, but also effectively keeps out insects,
ensuring long-term stability in light quality.
This allows the NL70 parallel beam reflector to
be used with the Evoke series fixtures in dust,
rain, snow, forests and other environments,
ensuring smooth operation for outdoor productions.
