Whether we are professional or amateur photographers, we all like to keep our photographic equipment in good condition . We know how hard it is to get equipment and how easy it is for something to break. Although we are very careful, there are always mistakes and unwanted accidents. The worst of all is that sooner or later we all have to. I’m telling you from experience, I’ve already had a couple of scares , this reminds me of a post I wrote a few years ago that may interest you.

Well, imagine if you dedicate yourself to extreme sports and adventure photography , where the team faces many more situations and environments; rain, mud, dust, humidity, etc… without a doubt here the team suffers much more and it is easier for an accident to occur. It is not the first time nor will it be the last time that I heard a “clack”, from a small loss when colliding in the camera .

But the photographic equipment not only faces these situations or possible imprudence on our part, also the use itself and the passage of time take its toll on it. So in the end all the photographers already know the discipline you do, we are in the same and we have to take care of the equipment and protect it.

Camera cover – easyCover

Cover, Case, Protector for the camera, or whatever you prefer to call it… In the end, it is a silicone “cover” that adapts to the camera model that we have, just like a smartphone cover that we all know, with the objective of Avoid possible bumps and scratches, protect it from dust and sand. And why not say it also to avoid wear and tear.

Let’s see if I can find time and upload some photos of the wear and condition of my Nikon D300s after more than 6 years of use, so you can see what I mean if you haven’t already gone through the same thing.

Full access and good management
The case is designed to allow us full access to all the buttons and compartments of our camera, it also comes with a rigid protector that fits with the case to protect the LCD screen, which is possibly one of the parts that can receive an unwanted blow beforehand. and come out the worst stop.

Testing the easyCover camera protector. First impressions.
At the moment I’m liking it and it fits perfectly to the camera, also now I have a better grip, since the Nikon D7200, being somewhat smaller than my previous camera, made me a bit uncomfortable to hold.

It is still early to tell you something else and give you a more personal opinion, so we will leave its corresponding review for later. The other day I went to pick it up so we still have to really put it to the test. We’ll see how it holds up after a while, as always I’ll go here.

Perhaps it would be interesting if they also thought about making covers for flashes and their receivers since they are generally more prone to falling to the ground or receiving more blows, luckily and let’s knock on wood I have never dropped my camera, but it is better to be prepared .
